A highly varied programme tonight in the small hall of Amsterdam’s fabulous Concertgebouw. From Bach, Brahms and Debussy, through Tsintsadze, Gershwin and De Falla, to Metcalfe and improvisations with electronics and video. It will be such a pleasure to play in that sumptious acoustic – tonight is the first time playing with v talented Latvian pianist Reinis Zarins.

I had high expectations and everyone of them came through. It was awesome. A concert I will remember the rest of my life.
Thank you! I enjoyed it so much – brilliant atmosphere from an audience who were totally up for a musical adventure into the unknown. And credit has to go the Concertgebouw – I’ve never known a venue to put so much thought (and cash) into genuinely finding new audiences. It’s inspiring, and the whole world of music should be watching and learning.
I also really enjoyed this, very ‘eclectic’! Nice to have someone speaking on that stage as well 😉 Thanks for a great concert to both of you, and visual arts too!
